The Jardins du MIP in Mouans-Sartoux, near Grasse in southern France, preserve the fragrant plants traditionally used in the region’s perfume industry. Established in 2007 and incorporated into the International Perfume Museum’s network in 2010, the gardens cover more than two hectares of botanical collections and cultivated flower fields. Visitors can discover roses, jasmine, tuberose, lavender, geranium and orange trees, exploring the plants that supply essential raw materials for perfumery. Arranged around an old stone canal and agricultural basin, the gardens also help preserve traditional cultivation practices and local biodiversity. They received France’s Jardin Remarquable label in 2022.
