The Museum of Sacred Art in Dijon occupies the former Sainte-Anne church and presents the religious heritage of Burgundy through works collected from churches and religious institutions across the region. Opened in 1980, the museum shares the site with the Musée de la Vie Bourguignonne, creating a connection between religious traditions and everyday life in historic Dijon. Its collection includes paintings, sculptures, liturgical objects, reliquaries, textiles and devotional works dating from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. The former church itself forms an important part of the visit, with its architecture providing a setting for objects once used in Burgundy’s religious life.
