SeattleWashington/United States

From ancient sculpture to contemporary installations, the Seattle Art Museum brings art from across the world to the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1933, SAM has grown into one of the region’s leading visual arts institutions, with a collection of more than 25,000 works spanning cultures and centuries. The collection ranges from Asian, African and Indigenous American art to European, American and contemporary works. SAM also extends beyond its downtown galleries through the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park and the Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront, giving the institution three very different settings for experiencing art.
