Olympic Sculpture Park

Art leaves the gallery behind at Seattle’s Olympic Sculpture Park, where monumental works stand between the city skyline, Elliott Bay and the surrounding landscape. Opened by the Seattle Art Museum in 2007, the nine-acre waterfront park turns contemporary sculpture into an experience that unfolds outdoors. The collection includes works by artists such as Alexander Calder, Richard Serra, Louise Bourgeois and Mark di Suvero. Winding paths connect the sculptures with views of the water and mountains, while the former industrial site adds another layer to the park’s character. Admission is free throughout the year.
