Museum Sophiahof

The Sophiahof Museum is a gathering place where the stories of the Indonesian and Moluccan communities in the Netherlands come to life. Housed in a beautifully restored building on Sophialaan, the museum tells the story of the colonial period, World War II in Asia, and the mass migration to the Netherlands that followed. It is a place for remembrance and reflection, but also for dialogue about how this shared past continues to shape our society today on a daily basis.
