The Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci brings together science, engineering and technology across centuries, from Renaissance inventions to modern transport, energy and space exploration. Leonardo’s notebooks inspired reconstructions of his machines, including designs for bridges, flying machines and military technology. Elsewhere, enormous ships, locomotives and aircraft occupy vast halls, while exhibitions explore subjects such as telecommunications, materials, energy and industry. It is a museum where a 15th-century inventor shares the stage with the technologies that followed him.
