The Kunsthal Rotterdam is not a museum in the traditional sense: it does not have its own collection. Instead, the Kunsthal organizes about 25 different exhibitions each year, ranging from modern art and photography to fashion, design, and pop culture. The building itself, designed by world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas, is an architectural icon that guides visitors through the various exhibitions via an ingenious ramp. There’s always something surprising to see here that you won’t find anywhere else.
