RotterdamZuid-Holland/Netherlands

The Chabot Museum is housed in one of the most beautiful white modernist villas in Rotterdam’s Museumpark. This small, intimate museum is dedicated to the painter and sculptor Henk Chabot (1894–1949), one of the most important Dutch Expressionists. His powerful work is beautifully showcased in the light, airy building—a historic landmark from the 1930s. In addition to the permanent collection of Chabot’s works, the museum features rotating exhibitions by kindred spirits and contemporaries.
Powerful images by various artists and Chabot himself on universal humanity.
A retrospective exhibition of this important local figure.
