Brutus

Brutus, located in the raw, industrial Merwe-Vierhavens area (M4H) in Rotterdam, is a massive artist-driven cultural complex. Founded by artist Joep van Lieshout, Brutus offers a vast space (over 6,000 m²) for art that often doesn’t fit elsewhere: large-scale installations, daring experiments, and groundbreaking solo exhibitions. It is not a traditional museum, but an artistic haven where the unpolished atmosphere of the port meets the pinnacle of international contemporary art.
