Australian Museum

Founded in Sydney in 1827, the Australian Museum is Australia’s first museum and one of its leading institutions for natural history and culture. Its collections span more than 22 million specimens and objects, covering everything from Australian wildlife, fossils and minerals to First Nations and Pacific cultures. Visitors can explore exhibitions such as Dinosaurs, Wild Planet and Garrigarrang: Sea Country, alongside displays highlighting Australia’s natural environment and cultural heritage.
