Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is one of the oldest and largest occupied castles in the world and has been a royal residence for more than 900 years. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, the castle has been expanded and transformed by generations of British monarchs, reflecting centuries of royal history. Visitors can explore the magnificent State Apartments, St George’s Chapel and the castle grounds while discovering its connection to the British monarchy. The castle is still used by the Royal Family today and remains an important ceremonial and historic landmark in the United Kingdom.

"I have been here a few times now and it never gets boring. This year was the first time visiting since the late Queen’s passing, so a visit to St. George’s chapel to pay our respects was on the top of our lists. The grounds are wonderful, the buildings even more so and this time we’ve had a lovely interaction with a staff member who could tell us a lot about the history of the palace. I didn’t get her name, but it was muxh appreciated!"
