Wentworth Woodhouse in South Yorkshire, England, is one of the grandest Georgian country houses in the country. Built for the 1st Marquess of Rockingham from around 1725, the mansion developed over four decades and contains more than 300 rooms. Its architecture combines Palladian design with Baroque influences, reflecting the wealth and ambition of the families who shaped the estate. The house is particularly known for its enormous East Front, which stretches 618 feet (188 metres), making it the longest façade of any country house in the UK. Surrounded by historic parkland and extensive gardens, the estate features grand state rooms, woodland paths and 18th-century landscape features. Today, the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust manages the property, welcoming visitors for house tour
