Vagina Museum

How much do we actually know about the vulva, vagina and reproductive anatomy? London’s Vagina Museum was founded to address gaps in education and representation around the female reproductive system, using exhibitions and events to explore anatomy, health, history and culture. The museum covers subjects including menstruation, menopause, gynaecological conditions, reproductive health and body image. Exhibitions combine medical information, historical objects, artworks and contemporary perspectives, helping visitors understand the anatomy and biology of the vulva and vagina while examining how these parts of the body have been represented and discussed over time.
