Technikmuseum Speyer

A Boeing 747, the Soviet space shuttle Buran and a giant Antonov An-22 dominate the skyline around Technik Museum Speyer. The museum brings aviation, space travel, maritime history, railways, cars and industrial technology together in an enormous open-air and indoor collection. The space exhibition is a major highlight, with more than 700 objects covering human spaceflight from the 1960s to the ISS. Elsewhere, visitors can enter the U9 submarine, explore historic aircraft and locomotives, and discover everything from motorcycles and fire engines to mechanical musical instruments.
