Tate Modern

Tate Modern is one of the world’s most visited museums of modern and contemporary art, housed in the former Bankside Power Station on the south bank of the River Thames in London. Opened in 2000, the museum transformed the industrial building into a major cultural landmark, with the later Blavatnik Building adding further gallery space. The collection spans art from the early 20th century to today, featuring artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol and Yayoi Kusama. Visitors can explore works across painting, sculpture, photography, film and installation, alongside major temporary exhibitions and large-scale works in the Turbine Hall.
