Seattle Children’s Museum

A grocery store, construction site, fire station and art studio can all fit inside one museum. At Seattle Children’s Museum, young visitors are encouraged to learn by playing, pretending and getting their hands involved rather than simply looking at exhibits. Designed for children from birth to around eight years old, the museum features hands-on play spaces inspired by everyday places and experiences. Children can experiment with different roles, solve problems, make things and explore at their own pace, while adults are encouraged to join in rather than watch from the side
