Porsche Museum

A building that appears to float above three concrete pillars is home to one of the world’s best-known automobile museums. The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen opened in 2009, presenting the history of the Porsche brand through racing cars, production models, prototypes and engineering milestones. Around 80 vehicles are on display, including icons such as the 356, 911 and 917. The exhibition changes regularly as cars from the collection take part in historic events around the world. A glass-walled workshop also lets visitors watch specialists restore and maintain historic Porsche vehicles.
