The Pantheon in Rome is one of the best-preserved and most remarkable buildings from ancient Rome. Originally built as a temple and later rebuilt under Emperor Hadrian around the 2nd century AD, it is famous for its enormous concrete dome and the open oculus at its centre, which lets natural light into the interior.
