Frick Collection

The Frick Collection in New York brings together European paintings, sculpture and decorative arts in the former Fifth Avenue home of industrialist Henry Clay Frick. Founded in 1935, the museum is known for its intimate setting, where works remain closely connected to the rooms and architecture of the historic mansion. The collection spans the Renaissance to the early 20th century, with works by artists including Vermeer, Rembrandt, Bellini, Goya, Gainsborough and Turner. Alongside paintings, visitors can explore French furniture, porcelain, clocks, sculpture and other decorative arts, presented in a domestic setting rather than a traditional gallery layout.
