Field Museum

The Field Museum in Chicago is one of the world’s leading natural history museums, exploring life on Earth from prehistoric times to the present. Founded in 1893, it is home to millions of specimens and cultural objects collected from around the world. Visitors can encounter dinosaurs, ancient Egyptian artefacts, gemstones, fossils and exhibits about human evolution and global cultures. One of the museum’s best-known residents is SUE, one of the most complete and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever discovered. Other galleries explore the natural diversity of the planet and the scientific research behind the museum’s collections.
