DenverColorado/United States

From ancient Indigenous art to bold contemporary design, the Denver Art Museum brings together artistic traditions from across the world. Its collections span centuries and continents, with particularly strong holdings in Indigenous arts of North America, art of the ancient Americas, Asian art, Western American art and fashion. The museum is also known for its striking architecture. The angular Hamilton Building, designed in collaboration with architect Daniel Libeskind and opened in 2006, gives the museum a distinctive silhouette in downtown Denver. Across its galleries, historic objects and contemporary works offer different perspectives on how people express identity, culture and ideas through art.
