Santa RosaCalifornia/United States
A small dog, a round-headed kid and a handful of friends turned everyday worries into one of the world’s most recognisable comic strips. The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa celebrates the life and work of the creator of *Peanuts*, who lived and worked in Sonoma County for more than 40 years. Original comic strips, drawings, photographs and personal artefacts show how Schulz developed *Peanuts* and its familiar cast of characters. The museum also recreates his studio and features murals, rotating exhibitions and a research centre, giving visitors a closer look at the man behind Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang.
