Casa Salvador Dalí in Portlligat, near Cadaqués, Spain, was the home and workplace of Salvador Dalí and his wife Gala from 1930 until 1982. The house preserves the artist’s personal spaces, including his studio, library, bedrooms and rooms filled with objects that reflect his distinctive tastes and creative life. Originally a small fisherman’s hut, the house gradually expanded as Dalí and Gala acquired neighbouring buildings over four decades. The result is a winding, labyrinth-like home with unusual layouts, terraces and a garden decorated with surrealist details. Overlooking the bay of Portlligat, the house offers an intimate glimpse into the surroundings that shaped much of Dalí’s life and work.
