Zaans Museum

The Zaans Museum in Zaandam shows you how the Zaan region evolved from an area of windmills into one of Europe’s oldest industrial regions. You’ll learn about the windmills, wooden houses, trade, factories, and the region’s entrepreneurial history. In the museum, you’ll see historical artifacts, customs, and stories, and you’ll also visit the Verkade Experience, where you can explore the history of cookie and chocolate production.
