The Dock Museum

The Dock Museum in Barrow-in-Furness explores the history of the town and its development during the Industrial Revolution. Housed in a former dock where ships were once built, the museum presents the industrial, maritime and social history of the area through objects, displays and reconstructions. The museum also hosts occasional art exhibitions in the lower section of the building.
