The Rietveld Schröder House in Utrecht is Gerrit Rietveld’s architectural masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the De Stijl art movement. The house was designed in 1924 for Truus Schröder and is world-famous for its radical departure from all architectural traditions. With its clean lines, primary colors (red, blue, yellow), and seamless transitions between interior and exterior, the building has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000.
