Nationaal Monument Kamp Amersfoort

The Kamp Amersfoort National Monument in Leusden is a memorial site and museum located on the grounds of the former World War II concentration camp. The collection and grounds include, among other things, prisoners’ personal belongings, the authentic roll call area, and the impressive “Stone Man.” The museum illustrates how the horrors of the camp system operated and keeps alive the memory of the tens of thousands of men who were imprisoned here under appalling conditions.
