Perched above the sea in Granville, the Musée Christian Dior occupies Villa Les Rhumbs, the childhood home of the renowned French couturier. Its collection of around 3,000 objects and documents includes haute couture dresses, original sketches, perfumes and accessories. Rather than a permanent display, the museum presents a new thematic exhibition each year, exploring different aspects of Dior’s work and influences. The surrounding garden, which inspired his fascination with flowers and colour, completes the experience.
