Groninger Museum

In the summer of 2026, the Groninger Museum will take to the streets. Inspired by the artists’ collective De Ploeg, the Walking Museum will venture into the city and the countryside.

For centuries, bricks—shaped from Groningen clay and fired to warm red-orange hues—have defined the appearance of our city and province.

"Corridors of Memory" is a virtual reality work by Gus Drake. The project focuses on Overschild, a village that has come to symbolize the earthquake problems caused by natural gas extraction.
