Bevrijdings​museum Zeeland

The Zeeland Liberation Museum in Nieuwdorp is the largest museum in the province and tells the compelling story of Zeeland during World War II. The museum focuses in particular on the Battle of the Scheldt, a crucial yet often overlooked conflict that paved the way for the liberation of Western Europe. Through personal stories, life-size dioramas, and an extensive collection of more than 40,000 objects, the history of the occupation, the resistance, and the eventual liberation comes to life for visitors of all ages.
